For nail salons

Get found for the nails people actually search for.

Nearby clients search for a service, not a salon name: gel, BIAB, a pedicure before a holiday. Start with the services you want more of and see where you show up for them.

What nearby customers search for

Someone looking for a manicure usually searches for the service and the area, often on a phone, and books from the result. These are the kinds of searches a nail salon can check.

Example searches

  • gel manicure near me
  • BIAB nails near me
  • pedicure open Sunday
  • nail art near me
  • acrylic infills near me

What to grow

  • Gel and BIAB manicures. Repeat appointments that come back every few weeks.
  • Pedicures. Seasonal demand that rises before summer and holidays.
  • Nail art and extensions. Longer appointments that deserve a page of their own.

Booked visits

How a nail salon sells

Mostly booked appointments, online or by phone, with some walk-ins for a quick polish. Clients come back every few weeks, so being easy to rebook matters as much as being found the first time.

What OwnerCue can read for a nail salon today

Reads today

  • The free competitor report: where you and up to three nearby rivals appear in the same Google searches, and what their pages show that yours do not.
  • Website visits, the booking, order or call clicks you already track, and the searches you appear in, from Google Analytics and Search Console, read-only.
  • A bookings export, when it has a booking reference, when the booking was made, the appointment time, its status and the service.
  • A sales export from your till, point-of-sale or payment system: one row per sale, with its date and amount.

Not yet

  • Which retail products, such as polish or cuticle oil, sold. A sales export is read one row per sale, without line items.
  • A direct connection to your till, booking or order system. Fresha and Square come in as CSV files; other tools are not connected.

A nail salon that wants more BIAB appointments

The owner picks one service, BIAB, and the streets around the salon.

The kind of finding the free report shows

Competitors have a page about BIAB; none of your fetched pages does

  1. The question

When someone nearby searches for BIAB nails, do they find this salon, and can they tell it offers the service?

  2. The evidence

Two of the three nearby salons in the report have a page titled for BIAB. This salon's fetched pages mention BIAB only as a line in the price list, with no page or heading of its own.

  3. The week's action

Write a short BIAB page: what it is, how long it lasts, how long the appointment takes, and a booking link that opens that service. Record the change and test the link on a phone.

  4. What it will not show

Whether the page brought in more BIAB appointments. That needs booking records over time, and a later change is reviewed as a change, not as proof.
